DIRECTING WORKSHOPS

WRITERS, PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS

My name is Darin Scott, and I’ve spent over 25 years Directing, Producing, and Writing feature films, television, and music videos.

Most of my feature films have been national theatrical releases.  They’ve won prizes at Sundance, been screened in Director’s Fortnight at Cannes, won 6 IFP Spirit Awards, won the MTV Best Movie Award, been listed on dozens of Top Ten critics lists, and grossed over 100 million dollars at the Box Office.

I’m an ACTIVE WORKING DIRECTOR who’s helmed projects in every genre, from Drama and Comedy, to Science-Fiction and Horror.

I want to share with you practical real world secrets of how to create stunning and effective visuals in narrative fiction.

You’ll learn how to design Vivid Cinematic Imagery and make your project look like it cost many times the actual budget.

In short, you’ll learn how to Maximize Your Talent As A Visual Storyteller and Make The Most Out Of Your Resources.

Cinema is a visual medium, and that is the best way for filmmakers to learn.  So I use over 200 film clips to illustrate the techniques and principles I teach.

If you’re serious about becoming a top-notch filmmaker, and being the best you can be, you need to take this class.  I look forward to seeing you there.
